Oak Grove Meadow

In 2017, Monroe Parks & Recreation, Monroe Conservation Commission, and the former Monroe Land Trust (now part of Aspetuck Land Trust) partnered to develop a native plant meadow at Oak Grove near Great Hollow Lake. The area showcases native plantings that support birds, beneficial insects, and other wildlife and will support education on low maintenance and beautiful native plants you can use in your own garden. It's a great spot for bird and butterfly enthusiasts and photographers.
