APPLY FOR TRADES PERMIT ONLINE

The Town of Monroe now offers an online permitting system for Trades Permits. This new system will allow you to submit applications for the following Trades Permits from the comfort of your home or office.   You will also have the option to pay for your permit online through a credit/debit card or from a checking account.

Applications that can currently be completed online:

• Alternate Heat Permit
• Electrical Permit
• HVAC Permit
• LPG Tank Install
• Masonry-Fire & Chimney Permit
• Oil Tank (install and removal)
• Plumbing Permit

Building permits are currently under development and will be available soon!!

Looking for the status of an online permit?

You may also review the status of your application at any time by clicking here to view the Trade Permit Status Form. You will need the physical address of where the work is being performed AND the applicant's email address to check the status of existing permits.

Looking for final inspection once work is complete?

Please remember to schedule final inspections with the Building Department. If your application is for the install or removal of an Oil Tank or LPG tank, please also schedule final inspections with the Fire Marshal's Office:
