If the parent of the child was living in Monroe at the time of the birth the Town will have the birth certificate.  A certified copy of the Birth Certificate can be requested. (1) upon the specific written request of the person to whom the certificate relates if he or she is over eighteen years of age: (2) upon the specific written request of a parent or legal representative of the person to whom the certificate relates.  There is a $20.00 charge for each certified copy.
