The  Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) has advised the Town of a recently-filed rate case of the Aquarion Water Company before PURA, Docket No. 22-07-01, Application of Aquarion Water Company of Connecticut to Amend its Rate Schedule.   Aquarion Water filed their formal application on August 29, 2022. 

The State of Connecticut Office of Consumer Counsel has also issued a Consumer Alert.

PURA has scheduled three public comment hearings in this proceeding:
