Board of Health
Duties per Town Charter (Chapter IV Section 13):
The First Selectman shall appoint a Board of Health consisting of five members who shall serve terms of three years. One of the five members of the Board shall be the Director of Health of the Town of Monroe. The Board of Health shall coordinate Town activities relating to public health. The Council may specify by ordinance additional duties and powers of the Board.
